Sheila Conlin

The Conlin Company opened its doors in Culver City, CA in 2005.   Conlin operates a full service casting and production facility that has resources for all types of casting and production in the entertainment industry.  Conlin has offices in New York as well as resources throughout the States and the UK.  Conlin specializes in casting for reality television and commercials, development projects for both film and TV, and host and expert casting.

Now, in it’s 4th year of business, the Conlin Company is currently casting “The Secret Millionaire,” Kitchen Nightmares and “The Moment of Truth” all on the FOX Network. Also casting the new “The Real My Fair Lady” with RDF for MTV.   We recently completed casting Seasons 4 and 5 for Hell’s Kitchen featuring Chef Gordon Ramsay, TLC’s Relationship Show with Malloy and Smith, Paradise Hotel 2, which is currently airing on My Network and Fox Reality Channel

Conlin’s casting company is responsible for casting some of the most successful reality shows for primetime network.   Currently casting, “Kitchen Nightmares” for Fox, and Camp Nirvana for VH1. Recent shows Conlin cast are the hit series for Fox, "Hell's Kitchen" –(Season 1, 2 & 3) starring Chef Gordon Ramsay and “Nanny 911, (Seasons 1, 2 and 3)” The ABC series “Wake Up Call” with Greg Behrendt, “ParenTeen,”  “Super Group” for VH1, America’s Agent for E! Entertainment, and  “American Idol Extra”.

Other casting credits: “Soccer Mom” – "The Swan” "Plan B", "The Complex", "Family Forensics", "Forever Eden", "Who Wants To Marry My Dad?” "Love Spell", the entire ensemble of "Paradise Hotel," the 10 aspiring lotharios for "Mr. Personality,” "Love or Money 1, and 2," "OZZfest Band Camp" for MTV with Sharon and Ozzy Osbourne and the Discovery series Once and Future City", Additionally, Conlin cast the feature film, National Lampoon's "The Trouble with Frank" starring Jon Bon Jovi and David Faustino.

Conlin’s Producer and Co-Producer credits include; Nanny 911 for FOX, “IT GIRLS” for VH1, “Marriage 911” – pilot for Fox, "Guinness World Records Primetime," Fox,  "Animals are People Too,"  "Hidden Victims: Children of Domestic Violence,"  - Lifetime. "The Greatest Christmas Moments," – FOX,  "Kidsongs," – Sony Wonder,  "Oops, The World's Funniest Outtakes 3, 4, 5, & 6,"  - FOX  "You Asked for It"  NBC and the series "When Animals Attack” – FOX.
 
Conlin was named Executive Producer for the US version of  “Neighbors From Hell,” with Granada America for Court TV.”  She also Co-Executive Produced a pilot for Discovery Health, titled “Rupert’s Kids,” with everyone’s famous Survivor, Rupert Boneham.  The show centers around a group of kids from the foster care system, an old dilapidated building in South Central, LA and Rupert, a mental health social worker all working together to rebuild the kids lives and the house.  Conlin is currently developing and creating several projects for network television.

Prior to opening The Conlin Company, Conlin was Director of Casting/Talent Development at LMNO Productions, she earned a reputation as having an eye for talent on a variety of network and cable programs including: "Looking for Love: Bachelorettes in Alaska," "Celebrity Boot Camp," "When Kids Rule,” for FOX, "Wintuition," Game Show Network, "Talkin' Trash," ESPN,  "That's Incredible" The WB and "Homewrecker” for MTV.

Conlin has functioned in virtually every aspect of production, and rounds out her resume with story producer, associate producer and line producer credits on such shows as "Open House,” TV’s Funniest Sitcom Weddings,” TV’s Funniest Christmas Moments,” Hollywood’s Amazing Animal Actors” and "Fifty Years of Funny Females."

Sheila began her career in entertainment as the assistant technical director at the Los Angeles Theater Center, but soon after took off traveling ‘round the country as Phyllis Diller's tour manager. The connections she made along the way earned her an offer to join the Personal Appearance department at the Agency for the Performing Arts.  At APA, Conlin helped the careers of several musicians and comedians who went on to great success.

Despite her hectic schedule, Sheila has always made time to support both women in the arts and children in need. She has served on the Women in Film Young Women's Empowerment Committee, volunteered at the Caring For Babies With AIDS resident home, and produced the annual Labor Day L.A. AIDS Benefit.
